To take up, handle, and endeavour to resolve the problems of members of industrial units.

To look after the maintenance of the Dabgram Industrial park and undertake supervision of development works like drainage, water, and roads.

"As President of the Jalpaiguri Dabgram Industries Owners' Welfare Association (JDIOWA), I firmly believe that a strong industry association is the backbone of sustainable growth of MSMEs. When entrepreneurs unite under a common platform, the goal of industrial growth becomes easier and in turn the opportunities of industrialisation multiply. An association does not merely represent industries only, in fact, it aware the members about their contribution towards the creation of job, generation of Govt. revenue and fulfilment of their corporate social responsibilities. If an industry grows, it can fulfil all these to a much better extent."
